Change back Google's Chrome's old start page.

If you're like me, then you probably hate Google's new home page for the Chrome Web browser.
It's definitely a redundant and wasted page.  Makes no sense to add a search bar in the middle of page, when the URL/ Address bar of the browser already does that for you.  They basically added an extra step by clicking on on "App" button to get to all your Web Apps extentions.  Well here's a tweak to retrieve the old home page set up so that the browser can be more productive once again:

1. Type or copy and paste chrome://flags into Chrome's address bar.
2. Search for "Enable Instant Extended API"
3. Change its setting from Default or Enabled to Disabled
4. Restart Chrome

UPDATE [2/21/14]: Google's latest stable Chrome release has removed this setting.

Workaround:  your going to need to install a third party extension called New Tab Redirect. It's free to use.
All you do is install the extension and then head into its settings (you'll be presented with a link immediately after installation). Enter the following in the URL field: "chrome://apps/ ."
Open a new tab, and voilĂ : You'll have something pretty darn close to the original "New Tab" setup.
